The group Striped Tigers have been thinking a lot lately and we just wanted you to see how well they think and how they come up with their ideas. They would like to explain it to you.
Haley:We all have different cultures and we thought about if we told each others culture and what they do for dancing, we combine our ideas and make it into a dance. This is how we came up with the dance. Costumes we just did something normal, we did regular clothes it just had to be red, white or blue. We wore regular jeans, shirts and pants. For our face, we put black paint under our eyes. We got our name because Hannah was wearing a Tiger shirt and i said how about the stripes!!! Then Hannah said no... how about Tigers. But then two words changed our mind. Hunter said,.... how about- The Striped Tigers. We all yelled and said yes!!!!!!!!! This is how we got our name!!! All just by a T-Shirt that one of the group members was wearing. We- are-The-Striped-Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Vanessa: I agree with Haley. We all had started with our own ideas from the, activity with Mrs.Budd then once we were put into our final groups we had to, combined 3 dances then in art we had started designing our instruments. Once we got it all down we got the dance, built the instruments. and finally the team name!!! What made us really confused then pop an idea came to mind, Hannah then said I have it how about Tigers??? No! Then Hunter said how about striped tigers??? All from a shirt, that's how our group built itself!!!
